it's fun and depending on the other players it can be a really friendly environment.
However on the flip side if the other players are asshats it's not that much fun. So it's kinda clutch to find a field where the owner caters to players who are out for a game that's fun for everyone, and a player base that you "gel" with.
Paintball Masacre is moving to North Chicago. (http://www.paintballmassacrearena.com/West%20Chicago.bmp) It's gonna be tiny, but it's paintball right? There's the Grindhouse (http://www.thebadlandz.com/grindhouse.htm) which look slike a tiny speedball field. CRC is ok, if you go let me know I'll coach. Can't afford to play, but I can coach pretty good. And CLP, well if you go my apologies. One of my fave things is to go there dressed in BDU's and looking like an utter "noob". Sometimes, they figure it out. Most of the time, no.
pbreview is useful for something, I was searching based off my area code while I was writing that post, and found all the options. The decision I am thinking now is, both places are probably about the same size. CRC is cheaper and closer...and will let me enjoy just throwing loads of "paint". Grindhouse is like an hour drive, but has real paint and questionable amounts of people and such. I donno I'll probably make up my mind in the next hour.
