Hello members :)
As you all might realise, each time we post voting, the number of entries up for voting have steadily been declining. It makes me very sad to see that nobody seems to be interested in taking part in the challenges.
We have 100+ members here and we can't post voting because only two people have entered the current challenge after two weeks. We had hoped that by having challenges every fortnightly instead of weekly, we'd have more participation but unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet.
Maybe some of you are here for the icons, or for the images. That's really all right with us, we're happy to share the Meryl love. After all, the community is a tribute of sorts to Meryl Streep.
ballion and I had worked hard on revamping the community and reopening it so that people who enjoy making icons of Meryl can get together in friendly challenges and have fun. It's really disheartening to see that nobody seems to be interested in taking part.
However, if people don't participate, we might have to close the community and that makes us very, very sad. It does take a lot of time to make a challenge post, look for good quality images for the challenges, post reminders, make the banners for the winners etc. Personally, I enjoy doing all of those things because I'm a huge Meryl Streep fan and I enjoy getting the fans together, even with the limited time I have. It's a wonderful hobby. Unfortunately, it would be such a waste of time when all the effort is for nothing. :(
Hence, we're going to try an extension again.

Please, please enter a few icons for the current challenge! There are many, many screencaps given in this challenge, I'm sure you can find a picture that you like! The new deadline is Sunday, 14th June. Thank you to all of you kind people who have taken the time to participate, we really appreciate it!
If there are any movies/photoshoots etc that you'd like to see featured, please don't hesitate to leave a comment at the Suggestion Box. Thanks!
