I got a job!! I'm so excited! And it is going to be an AWESOME job. I thank God for this...I'm so happy!
The job is for Queen's Telefundraising Services, so basically my main job is to call up alumni and parents and convince them to donate to Queen's. However, we also do a bunch of other activities, and I already love all the staff that I have met! I believe it is my boss who dealt with the hiring (though he has a boss), and he is amazingly friendly. During the group interview, we got to meet a bunch of others too. That is the best interview I have ever had...it was so much fun! Anyway, I can't wait to start!
Sadly, I will be giving up two nights a week to work...Hopefully Mondays and Tuesdays would be ideal. That way I can continue to sing in the church choir. I also have a lecture that extends 30min into the shift time on Wednesdays, and on Thursdays it is impossible to go, as one of my lectures is right in the middle of the shift. But I don't mind Fridays and Sundays (no Saturday workdays, I think ^_^). The best part is...it is $9.00/hour! So I'll be getting $72 a week!! WHich is really really really good for me. That means I can cover my entire membership fee for the UN conference in one work week! YAY! Now all I have to do is apply for my Work Study Grant.
Anyway, I need sleep. Today is my day to have a good looong sleep. I have no classes until tomorrow night (technically tonight...)
