"If you boxed it you woud've won $150"

That's what the guy said to me last night at Foxwoods. What i did was place a bet on the dog race for a "trifecta" (which is calling what 3 dogs will be in the top 3. YOu can either make it in exact order or box them, which means it doesn't matter the order those dogs finish in, just as long as they're in the top 3. So I had dogs 7,8,1 in that order and it was like 1,8,7, when they came in. Then he told me about boxing the trifecta and i was like "damnit." So i boxed all my other trifecta's and didn't win any the rest of the night haha. However...

Before i tell the story i'll just explain the set up of the room. It's HUGE. They have a 3 huge TVs and scoreboard type things with all the horse and dog races and even jai alai. So you get to pick what track you want to bet on and you get a sheet with all the odds on it and stuff. So me and my father bet on Wonderland for awhile (my mom was at the slots still, haha) and all the races there ran out so we decided to do one more at derby county or something like that.

So, I did a trifected, picked dog #5 to show cuz that was the safe bet and i think i put $3 on KC Fiddle Faddle to win. He had the worst odds so i figured might as well, and give the pup some confidence. So my trifecta was a bust, #5 took 3rd so i got like 3 dollars off that. AND KC FIDDLE FADDLE WON! It was awesome. I was excited cuz i won $25 and excited for KC Fiddle Faddle cuz no one thought he could win but he did...kinda like the little engine that could.

So that was a good time, played the slots a little too, but the races were pretty cool.

Other than that not much goin on. Might be coming back to school tonight cuz there might be a huge snow storm tomorrow. We'll see. Later.
