Your Pain is My Pleasure, Your Sorrow My Joy
Well tonight was a bit..actually, a lot..of fun. It started by me picking up the phone this evening and calling Aswhin. She said she found this pirate themed haunted house and asked if I'd like to go. We made plans, invited a couple other people, and at six o'clock made our departure from darling(yeah right) Modesto.
We arrived at the Pirates of Emerson place an hour later and went inside. There were two haunted houses. One was a shipwreck theme, and the other was the deep sea..in 3D. It felt like you were on the ocean floor and all these fishies and skeletons were swimming around you. We of course had our fun, and picked up on some pirates.. "You can arrr me, matey, anytime!"
As we walked towards my car in the parking lot, we decided, "Hey, why not go to San Francisco?" So we hopped into my car and went. Needless to say, oh man, lots of fun. We went everywhere. Our two hour trip turned into eight somehow...Funny how that happens. Anyway, it was just so great to be out of this town for a while.
