Meditation is simple, and starts with the breath. Gotta sit upright somewhere comfortable, with a straight back, relax, and then s'all about focusing on the rhythm of breathing. The mind may be distracted and go here n' there, but always come back round to that steady in...and out...n' the hearbeat just behind. Eventually everything else gets ( Read more... )

It is incredible, the transcendent calm one can achieve breathing from one's hara, unleashing the strength at the core of their being. It places all into perspective.

Yeah. That's it, exactly. Calm, but focused.

Don't know what my crew has against it, no one else seems to want to try.

Not technically. My sensei taught me a lot but m'not a precept-following kinda guy, or religious. I use what works.
