one more class to go..until the weekend!

we just got back from the hospital. it was my last week in medical/dialysis which is good. i had a good last day i suppose. i had to change into my scrubs in 3rd period, since i dont like wearing them to school...but anyways i went to the 6th floor and i found a nurse to help..well more like observe! yea well first we took an old lady down to the first floor to wait for her daughter that was taking her home. then i brought the wheel chair back. then when we got back we went to a patients room to turn her over but she also needed to be changed..the nurse was about to do that but the lady hadn't finished!! it was crazy..then the nurse told me to go into the room of the lady that had just checked out and take off all the bed linens. she cautioned me and told me to wear gloves, she told me not to move the linens much and to put them in the waste basket. she said the lady had shingles..and well yea its easily spread, but usually occurs more in older people..like that lady. so that was sorta scary lol! yea then after i finished the nurse gave a man a sponge bath. so thats pretty much all i did in clinicals today. i have eng.apcc after lunch..and i think theres going to be a newspaper quiz hopefully not! cuz i haven't fully read the paper. so i guess will just have to keep the man talking..and it isn't very hard to do that = ) well thats it
