Wasting Time
Someone once said, that "there is nothing more boring than yesterday's newspaper, but nothing more interesting than last year's."
Well I have wasted much more time than I should at The Times Archive. Every single newspaper from 1785 to 1985 is there, and it's great just to follow news stories through or look up obscure things (or not so obscure) and see how they were reported at the time. The search feature is a bit clunky and it's hard to just browse an issue. But this currently my favourite thing on the net.
