*Since things had got quieter, Toboe had tried leaving his room for the first time since trying to help Lily. It was pretty obvious from the start that things were still bad, but the flower deck always made him feel a bit better

*Toboe yelps. He wasn't aware the comm was on, so the reply takes him by surprise. Not that it'd take much to startle him now*

T-the flower deck is full of....dead things.

...Ew! Really? What kind of dead things?

[She thinks for a moment. Her voice shakes a little.]

Not...zombie pirates, are they?

*Toboe isn't sure what zombies or pirates are, but he sure hopes they aren't out there*

They aren't moving, though.

*Toboe whimpers. He really really should, and he knows he should--and that he can run quickly to the stairs. But he's still scared, so it will take him a few more moments to get up the courage to do it*

It'll...be okay! Here, I'll talk you through it, alright? What's your name?

[She won't remember his name, but that's just how Renna is. She can't even remember Zeke's name.]

*He can do this. He's been through worse...it just didn't involve a lot of dead bodies and him being all alone*

If I just run to the stairs it should be alright...

*She can hear him get to his feet, which means she can hear his claws click on the stone floor of the temple*

*There's another whimper (that's kind of muffled, since now the comm is in his mouth) and then Toboe starts running. Though she probably can't hear that last part.*

[She makes an encouraging noise.]

There you go. Okay, you can totally do this. Just...keep running and be careful.

*There's panting as Toboe runs, then you can hear a yelp, something thud then a questioning doggy noise*
