I know that some would argue it is just a building. That our Lord is present anywhere that two or more are gathered in his name. But it is also a symbol. It is meant to be a safe place, where all may find sanctuary.
Anyway, I shall be working harder to ensure that the Church is indeed a safe place for each and every one of us, and to make myself available to support and encourage her Congregation.
