Kettlebells kicked my ass. We went for the half hour intro session. It was pretty intensive. We probably did stuff for about 20 minutes or so. I hurt. Basically you just take the kettlebell and swing it between your legs and do reps of those with floor exercises. And surprisingly, Nicole still can't do a push up to save her life. Or all the other things. I'm sure I looked like I was floundering around on the floor. But I tried and I think that says more about me than not being able to do them at all. Today Tracy and I have been limping around the house. It really does work every part of your body. The idea of doing this 3 days a week for an hour at a time makes me feel tired in a way I can't describe. But the one guy who teaches it lost over 50 pounds in a little over 6 months. That's an idea I can get on board with. First I need to recover.

It seems that my Grandma is doing far worse than we expected. An option that was given to my aunts falls more into the Pallitive care spectrum rather than treatment. I suppose I saw this day coming. She has been deteriorating for some time now. She is apparently not eating or going to the bathroom as the mass in her hip has been pushing on her kidney. This is when it really sucks that she is 6 hours away from us. Tracy and I are starting to make tentative plans for going down for a funeral, as that could be a reality in the next few weeks. It really sucks but having an idea of what is going on is a more comforting feeling.
