I've been really boring lately. The house has been interesting as my sister has gone from having the flu to developing pneumonia. She's not really healthy right now. But I'm mostly happy that she doesn't have to call me from her bed with her cell phone to get me to bring her tea anymore. She's slightly more mobile. But it does mean that I get the daily "is she alive" call from my mom. Always fun. She did survive the hockey game on the weekend. That was a strange game. I've never seen so much green in the stands before. The Rider's fans are all encompassing fans in that they will cheer for any sort of team. They were still happy and excited with the potential of a win the next day.

I did go see the new Harry Potter movie. I've gotten sucked into the books so it's nice to see the movie version. I love the fact that I am off during the week so I can see it with less than a dozen people, even when it is still new.

Bought myself an early christmas present of Dexter on DVD. I started watching it on tv on a whim and it was the first episode which felt like fate was telling me to start watching. The mooch offered up his hard drive with all the episodes but I feared that it would turn into the DVD player ordeal. When he offered his unused player but took it back when a friend needed it. And then left it unhooked up for 2 weeks after he got it back. And was surprised when I bought myself one. I'm trying to ration it because I'm not sure if Dexter is the sort of show that I should sit and watch for hours on end...

Am starting to try to price things out for the basement. I'm trying to come up with some sort of budget and circumvent my parents. My mom has started making jokes about getting the contractors to do other things in the house while we aren't there to say no. She doesn't seem to realize that I don't have an unlimited budget to get everything that is available. She seems to be starting to get the picture.
