(no subject)
Today I was on my way back to the house and there was a random hippy dude with a long board hitch hikin at the turn off from the highway... I slowed down and asked him where he was going... road 23... damn I thought.. its pretty fucking far... I'm only on road 6.. so I tell him to hop in and I take him to his street. So.. his name is Brandon and he has lived in this neck of the woods for about 4-5 years... he was very nice and offered to show me around Hilo and to some nice beaches/bars! I gave him my number.. hope he calls! It'd be nice to have a hippy friend. :)
A lot of people hitch hike here. It's great. I feel bad for the lil old ladies that always end up on the other side of the road.... going the other way from where I'm headin.. they deserve a ride... they are elderly.. and it's harder for them to get around. One day.. I will catch one.. I bet they have some cool stories to tell.
Hawaii is great.
My parents and I are gonna go to a beach tomorrow.. we're bringing a picnic.. Should be fun. I haven't been to the beach yet.
I am very glad I decided to come here. It's nice to get away from the Vegas funk.
