i'm going to the martial arts academy tonight. i really hope frank shows up. he's really the only reason i'll be there. i haven't straightened my hair since i moved, but i'm gonna today. you wouldn't believe what a difference the climate of new mexico makes to my hair. it's loose and curly, but there's no frizz . . . i can wear it down without straightening it, and it doesn't puff out on me.

i didn't really realize how bored and lonely i am in albuquerque. it took a tuesday night with rachel and rolanda to remind me how much fun i can have -- with the right company.
