That was two years ago. I was almost 19 years old, and came home from Gallaudet. I was relieved I was home because my first semester was really hard. I felt God so much on that day. I snapped this picture because the sun was brighter. And it came through. It shone everywhere.
Every time I see this picture, I am reminded that God’s light is powerful. His light guides us, even through the darkest times. We’re still guided by His light no matter what. Sometimes, we can’t see light, but his light is always present. Because we’re in the Christ, the light is actively a part of us, it moves in and out, and from west to east and from north to south, and across the country, and even the world. The light is always here. Jesus said that, “I am the light of the world.” We’re part of Him, because we live from the dead along with Jesus Christ, so he gives the light freely to us because the light will lead us to life.
So, believe in God for all the things he has done for us because there is light. The light has a meaning. Not only it guides us to see life, but it lives in us because the light will always overcome darkness. When we can’t see the light, seek it again, and it will help us to see the life again. And if we don’t, it’s okay because we still have the light in us, but we just have to see it. We do sometimes become blind, because of how the worldly world makes us to not see. But keep faith in God, and keep living. The light is always present.
