WHAT?
So I get a phone call from mommy-dearest this morning at 8:30am. That was her first strike... woman, don't call me at 8:30am and ask me what I'm doing when I have nothing I need to be doing. You KNOW what I'm doing, I'm SLEEPING!!!
Anyway, she proceeds to talk to me about what I want for graduation, what will be useful, etc. We decide on her and my dad paying for my lisencing test and my first few months of car insurance so I can get my damn car already. This is good.
The second strike came next....
mom:"I know you guys are planning on going out and partying Saturday night, right?"
me: "Yup, it's gonna be so fun, you should come."
mom: "haha, no. But can you guys try to not party too hard?"
me: "Ummmm, maybe, why?"
mom: "'Cause Michael's band (my brother is in a band at out church, he plays guitar for them) is playing at church on Sunday at the Celebration service."
me: "Umm, sure, we can do that."
mom: "Well, it's at 10am, not 11 like usual. And they're only having one service instead of two like usual."
me: " Ummmm, okay. "
mom: "I know he'd really like you and Ash to be there. So if you guys could be there, that'd be great."
me: "Ummmm, sure."
Okay, it's 8:30am, my mom wakes me up (strike one) to tell me that we have to be not only awake, but FUNCTIONAL at 10am Sunday morning in Harrison (strike two). WTF? Oh my goodness. Looks like Chris gets out of making breakfast for us Sunday...boo. We were really looking forward to his light&fluffy pancakes...:-P Any other weekend I wouldn't have had a problem with this, but c'mon. It's my graduation night with my sister and best friends, WTF. Are you KIDDING me right now?
*sigh* oh well...there were quite a few people who couldn't make it Saturday night anyway, so we'll just close the bars and hit the sack. We'll go hard core another night. But this weekend is still gonna be crazy fun!!! :-)
So yeah, it was a wonderful wake-up call this morning. But hey, I found out I get to take my test to get my Social Work Lisence soon. I just have to schedule the damn thing. :-P
CSC is coming to get me tonight, so I'll be in town for the next several days. Hopefully I'll just need to come back one day next week so I can put all my shit in a truck (anyone got a truck I can use for a day or so? Or an SUV? I'll put gas in it.) and move it southbound for good!!!!
I can't believe it, I'm graduating in a few days!
Now, watch, I'll forget my cap/gown/medallion/tassle when I leave for Cincy tonight...hahaha. Watch me. :-P
