FYI re: state ballot -
This year's ballot is incredibly long and complex -- not to mention tricky (sometimes you might vote "no" on something that would seem to be an automatic "yes" like the non-discrimination one).
Worth studying in advance -- or, as Colleen K. has suggested -- also getting a mail-in ballot.

As we are going to be eating drinking sleeping breathing election info for the next 44 days, here is a handy link for the state Blue Book about all the ballot issues, etc. We're all supposed to get one in the mail, but in case yours is delayed, or you don't want to wait for it, here's the link:
