811 : Basking in Hyde's Glory
So, last night, I spontaneously went to my first concert.
I've been to a bar where there was live music playing. I've been to a jazz club. I've been to musicals, operas, what have you. But I'd never actually been to a popular music concert.
And last night, I was standing six feet away from Hyde-sama. T.T;;;
VAMPS came to Portland! HYDE and JU-KEN and K.A.Z. were touchably close. T.T
The bad: The heat. Before the concert even began, I had to take my inhaler because I felt like I was suffocating. The body odour. The hearing in my left ear going out half an hour into the show. The rock music blaring so loud it was hard to hear Hyde himself (my hearing probably didn't help). The fangirls trying to make a mosh pit where there was no room for one because we were packed so tightly together. Being jostled, elbowed, bumped. Random hands on my ass because of people moving around, not with the intention to grope. The brunette's long, dark hair in my face and catching on my bag. The blond bimbos who kept flailing their arms around and nearly clocking me in the face repeatedly.
The good: The proximity. The fact that it was HYDE. Getting sprayed by water from Hyde's water bottle, licking a drop off my lip that probably contained his backwash. Omfg. As Raiza put it on Facebook, "baptized by Hyde's backwash."
Another reason I'm grateful I went:
EDGUY IS COMING TO PORTLAND!
EDGUY IS FREAKING COMING TO PORTLAND!
OMFG, EDGUY IS COMING TO PORTLAND!
Note to self: buy earplugs.
