It's funny to me, Akasha, how you hide behind your fans, turn a blind eye to any responsibility for how things went down last night, and then how you ban me from responding to your barbs against me. Really classy, that.

Not everyone finds my particular brand of tie-it-to-a-brick-and-bounce-it-off-their-forehead honesty charming ;~) However, I think some people need to hear it. Some people also need a giant helping of get over your damn self and grow up, but I can only do so much with what I have to work with. I don't do petty, junior high, teenage girl crap, I didn't like it when I was a teenager girl, I certainly won't abide by it at 30. The fact that the person consistently engaging in the SB antics that most annoy me IS a teenage girl further reinforces my dislike of the immature behavior among those who are not.
The fact that this has become a whole big thing on lj now and is, I suspect, starting catfights and passive-aggressive standoffs amongst the community is ridiculous. At the risk of sounding insensitive, I find it amusing that the energy has suddenly been found to keep perpetuating a situation someone claims not to want to be a part of. The response, at least as I learned in the classes for my psych degree, is to avoid stressors and triggers when possible, not go looking for them. Distasteful business all around.
On a happier note, I have done the initial read on the piece you sent and I LOVE it. Well done you! Are you planning to enter O&F?
I say leave the kiddies to their childish nonsense, surely there are more entertaining things to think about :)

For the most part, I ignore Akasha because unless you fawn all over her, she will strike at you. Plus, she likes to withhold her stories as punishment to the world at large. No loss to me, though!
Moving on ... you liked it? It's (hopefully) coherent?? :D Can't wait to get your notes back. I'm so lucky to have you as a friend! :D As for O&F, I did try to sign up this morning, but ran into a little confusion that has yet to be clarified. On the submission form they ask for prompts on what you intend to offer, as well as what you'd like to receive. Perhaps it's simply a mistake, copied from the first half, otherwise, why would any of us submit prompts if our "partner" is just going to write whatever s/he wants instead? SMH. Technically, I've signed up, but I may have to amend it lol!

I really do like the other piece. It is totally coherent and makes sense in such a crazy nonsensical way. I am finishing the edits on a piece for River that is quite long, 60 pages I think. However, there looked to be very few corrections in yours, so I should have it back to you by the weekend.
