A Break From Studying
I am so sick of studying. 4 more months of this stuff!
Distraction would be nice.
Webkinz are a distraction.
The boys just got 2 each, and I swore I would not succomb to this media craze..... But I did. And I would honestly rather be playing Cash Cow, than studying about embryology.
Lab was really difficult for me this week. My instructor showed us a cow uterus. I was fine while she was explaining all the different parts......Until she reached in and pulled out an underdeveloped fetus. I broke down into tears, and had to completely turn around. A couple girls asked if I was ok, and I explained to them that I had miscarried a few weeks ago. It was a good thing this was at the very end of class, because I just had to get out of there. I'm doing better now.....But I still have my moments.
On a brighter note, we bought a snowmobile from our friend, Russ over the weekend. The guys went down on Friday, stayed overnight at Chris and Dana's, and brought it home yesterday. Brian and Ty are out riding this afternoon and are already loving the new toy....AND now Dad actually has a way to get out on the ice to fish. I'm thinking it was a pretty good investment. Maybe now we'll actually get rid of the non-operating golf cart that is taking up space in our garage, so we actually have a place to store the sled.
I, too, was back in our old stomping grounds recently. I visited Heidi last weekend. Just needed to get away and have somewhere quiet to study. She is a great study partner since she has already taken the classes, and uses the terminology every day. Plus, it's always fun to just hang out......even if we're at the laundromat doing her laundry, or going Grocery Shopping. Of course I had to drag her to Starbucks.....Twice!
Starbucks would be good right now! Do you know they are discontinuing their almond syrup....Tragic!
