It's so me to always run away from my problems. Well... not that I'm running, this time... I'm just trying to pave them over with other things. Distractions. It's what's keeping me alive, and that should count for something.
The past two days, I've fully immersed myself in work. It's amazing, not only have I hardly forgotten anything over the course of nearly two months, but... I swear I've gotten better. Today, everything just clicked and I found myself hardly looking at recipe cards to make drinks. Feck yeah. Supposedly I'm moving up to an AST position, some fancy abbreviation for a trainer I guess, without anyone actually telling me. LEVEL UP!
Mike received my cookies and I was told in not so many words that I have no choice but to send him more. :o I feel so loved, as does he I'm sure. He told me that was the only thing he had eaten that day, and that he ate them all.
