So I have the Internet!
I've been having a pretty good week since Fall Break. I don't know, I have just been way more relaxed and not as stressed about school work. (Which has now come back to bite me in the ass!)
I got back on Tuesday night and got ahead on some homework and then checked my Midterm grades. I actually did well for midterm this semester. Usually my grades suck at midterm... but I got all As... except for Comm Theory, but the lowest test grade gets dropped... so I'm not worried.
Maybe I should? I don't want to get complacent- which is how I've been acting lately. Especially with my photo project. I am so behind.
I have to get 4 more prints done by Thursday because I am going out of town this weekend Friday through Sunday. And I'm not the quickest person in the darkroom. I work on about 1.5 prints a class. So tomorrow I'll have 3 done, hopefully... which will mean that Wednesday I'll get the next 2 done (hopefully) and Thursday I'll matte everything. Ha. We'll see how that works out.
Speaking of pictures. I have to take pictures for the Yearbook due Wednesday and I haven't taken ANY. The copy is all about iPods and the Bohemian style... so I mean, I have Bohemian clothes I'll just get someone to model and I'll snap a picture tomorrow I guess. Since I have so much time. (Maybe the upstairs roommates?) Muahaha.
But anyway... I have a new article for the GSO. The editor called it Fat Kids... it's supposed to be about college obesity and the Freshman 15 or something... so if you have stories, let me know!
This weekend... was relaxing. My mom came in town and we watched some soccer games, went rock/wall climbing (not me), saw "In Her Shoes," and did our nails. It was nice. I also dyed my hair.
On Sunday we hosted a Tasteful Treasures Party. Everyone got hammered. Hammered and horny, what a good combination to get those purses open for some new toys and creams and oils. Yes.
I talked to Jose Luis today and the guys are getting here on Sunday at 11 pm. I am so excited. I think I might just go to the airport to see them because it looks like they're staying with Ashley in Pawley's Island which is way too far for me.
Oh well.
I almost wish I wasn't going to the Clemson Tournament this weekend. I just have way too much to do. Friday Sarah and Megan are going out to dinner or lunch (I don't know) and there's this music preview thing at Mellow Mushroom that I'd like to go to. Saturday I'd really like to have as a crutch to get ahead on homework before the guys get here... and there's the Coastal Carolina Fair that I'd really like to go to with everyone... and on Sunday I have an interview with this guy and his fiancee to hopefully videotape their wedding, but that's only if I get back at a reasonable hour from the tournament, plus I have to go to the airport to meet the Trujillanos. I don't know... I guess I'll have to make a gametime decision about Clemson if I have too much work to still do.
