when it's time to party we will party hard

Thursday was our last soccer practice of the season... and it definitely rained on our parade. but i almost was happy because the bugs were freaking ridiculous. crawling everywhere, even up our noses. gross! but it was alright. at least i got to shower after practice before lab. no stinky for me!

Friday I went to the Duane Michals lecture for photography. Frank came in with a couple drinks in him... didn't think that was a bad idea, really. I thought it was going to be really boring, but it was actually really funny and entertaining. Anyone who reads this, check out some of his stuff, because it's really funny some of the stories he puts together with his pictures and his writing. Not to mention he's a really funny, and very blunt, speaker.

After the lecture I went to ColdStone and met up with Sarah, Kelly, and Hayley... and Pfeffer!!!! and one of his friends from USC. It's always nice to see someone from home. We ended up at Dalle's house for a while, but I got really tired pretty quickly. But it was fun meeting a lot of new people... seeing who Sarah spends a lot of her time with. Fun times.

Saturday I got up at 8:45 to go to breakfast, but by the time everyone was ready it was too late for me to eat. I had my last soccer game for the season- I guess you could also call it our first real one. My dad reffed the game, which was fun. The girls thought he was so cute. Haha. We ended up winning 4-1. I wish I could have scored. I really had so many chances and I couldn't finish any. What a loser. After the game we all went to Andolini's, and I just have to say the pizza was amazing. Better than usual. After that I showered and went to see Sarah play her soccer game. They tied. Erin Sekerak was there. I definitely didn't put it together that C of C was playing Georgia and that Erin played for them. It was neat watching them play.

After the game I came back to the dorm to kind of celebrate Ashley's birthday. As I was walking in, I called Harrison who happened to be up on the 4th floor so I went to visit for a while. When I got downstairs most everyone had left for I don't know why. The night was kind of long. Sarah got out of the movie with our parents around 11:30 and she came and showered and then we were supposed to go to Dalle's, but then we picked up the girls and they said everyone was at Trio and I was definitely not dressed for a club locale, so Sarah and I went back and chilled for a bit. I got back around 4 AM, just in time to prevent some strange boy from commandeering my bed for the night. Phew!

This morning I went to the square and forgot to flip. I stayed laying down on my stomach and burnt my back and back of my legs to a crisp. Ouch.

Gunn left today and it was sad. Sad because it's one of those situations were you like the guy and you tell yourself you will see them again, but you know you probably won't. I don't know. It's not a farfetched possibility in some respects, but it is in others. It's just a sad situation to ponder. Bye Gunn, you'll be missed.

Went shopping and bought things I didn't need.

And went to Andolini's again, which was simply amazing. But my Andolini's guy wasn't working both times I went this weekend. What a bummer.

Annie is coming this weekend, and I have to show her a good time in Charleston. Andolini's is at the top of my list.
