A little bit bored now so I thought I would inform you all of what I will be blasted out of my sound system when spring starts in about 2 days :D While I am aware my taste in music sucks, these songs are pretty cool so I thought I'd rate them out of 5 stars for you all and give a little background on each song. Shows how bored I am.

Pink: "U+Ur Hand"

Sound: A bit heavy, but still pop to the max. Pink's a bit hit and miss for me but this song is quite good. Rocked-up drum beats and raspy vocals make it sound more dancy than most Pink songs

Best song line: "Late night, midnight, I'm drunk, I don't give a fuck"
Rating: A decent song, but nothing really outstanding here (3.5/5)

Jessica Simpson: "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)"

Sound: While it's not the best cover ever, anything sounds good compared Britters' cover of "I Love Rock n' Roll". Jess gives this classic track a bit more edge with fused-up syth pop beats aswell as including elements of the vintage drum beat made famous by Dead or Alive. The lyrics, excluding the chorus have been changed, giving the song a more modern a fresh feel.

Best song line: "I get dizzy from the sound of your name, cure me, you're my remedy"
Rating: I'm quite partial to Jessica and I definately supported her in the divorce. I've always loved this song and I think she has done a solid job (4.5/5)

Justin Timberlake: "SexyBack"

Sound: This is JT at his best I have to say, considering I don't think much of him at all (N*SYNC anyone?). But JT pulls out all the stops on this fun, dance, r&b/pop track that will be stuck in your head all spring. Can get a bit repetitive after a while, but you'll be dancing your arse off, so you probably won't notice

Best song line: "I think it's special what's behind your back"
Rating: It's obvious that Justin has realised that sex sells, but overall, he has done it quite well. Not just a song for his female fans (who'd find him hot though??)and is guaranteed to get any party cranking (4/5)

Nelly Furtado: "Maneater"

Sound: Arguably the best song of this year, Nelly has come back from the bomb that was her last album, Folklore and stormed into the charts with a new batch of hip-hop/dance infused beats, drizzled with r&b. While Promiscuous was a little more about the hip-hop backing track, Maneater storms out of the blocks with a heavy yet infectious dance beat with slightly eeriely produced vocals.

Best song line: "Come on everybody what you here for? Move your body around like a nympho"
Rating: While Nelly's voice does tend to contaminate this track a little bit, the music is irresistable and it will impossible to sit still while listening to this song. Without a doubt, her best song yet (5/5)

Paris Hilton: "Turn You On"

Sound: As I said, I am aware that I have no taste whatsoever. If you could salvage another single of Paris' debut album, then this is arugably the only one. Not as catchy as Stars Are Blind (which I loathe), yet Paris has the ability to use enough over-produced music to cover up the fact that she simply cannot sing. However, this song is an upbeat, dance number and could used be used by a hot chick if she wanted to seduce a particular gentlemen (Trish and me anyone?). With crunky backing music and slurring vocals, Paris is able to make it through the full 3 and a half minutes without really stumbling.

Best song line: "Boys and girls are looking at me, I can't help it cause I'm sexy owww!"
Rating: Pretty weak really, but it's Paris so what did you expect? However, she is able to pull it off in a way, and if you pretend someone else is singing, then you'll enjoy this dancy track. (3/5)

Well, that killed some time. Let me know if any of you guys out there have heard these tracks, and I'd love to get some feedback. Yes I know, my life is tragic.
