saturday was a devoted local museum day/
visit the places you've always wanted to visit in town but never had the time or will.
we stopped at the art museum to see the dali/disney animated short film from the 40's. oh my, was it strange. it made my stomach hurt a little bit..haha.
max and austin were not fans of the film...but were appreciators of the macabre art that the museum has...the naked lady statues... and the elevator. and maybe the asian wing with the samurai swords.
the rest of the day was filled with the paul laurence dunbar house, the wright brothers national park museum, the old bicycle shop, flying pizza, ben and jerry's, and falling asleep watching north by northwest with kool-aid.
i can check a lot off of my local history check list!
(and i do have a check list. haha)
p.s. isn't this grocery store fantastic? it was part of the museum, but oh the colors! the packaging!
