my christmas kick off
saturday i spent the afternoon out with my mom and sisters in tipp city for our annual "stratton girls take christmas" outing. all of the little shops in town were bursting with people and christmas music and food. local artists were set up working on paintings and pottery...and for the 5th year in a row i wasn't able to talk anyone into taking a horse-drawn carriage ride. i'm not giving up hope.
the vintage shops downtown carried the most amazing collections of plastic santas and putz christmas houses this year. i bought a little putz church and have my heart set on getting a full collection started. there is something about the colors and how simple and delicate they are that make me squeal! so perfect.
oh my, how i love christmas!
