i had a hot date saturday night with two of the nicest boys in town.
my nephew austin and max took me out for pizza and ice cream and wonderful conversation.
we walked up to the little pizza place around the corner from our house and spent the rest of the night loitering around the high school, skateboarding and peeking in windows. i felt like a girl of 13 again!
i think that's one of the best/strangest things about being back home...all the nostalgia of visiting old haunts with your little ones.
that...and knowing that pizza and ice cream cones are just around the corner.
