Bob/Patrick platonic gingersnuggles
Bob and Patrick have an arrangement. When neither of them is seeing anyone (which happens more often than Bob had originally expected, considering they’re famous rock stars and shit), they have platonic sex. At the very least there are platonic make out sessions on the couch when they’re tired. They’re also too tired for sex more often than Bob originally expected, but that’s what happens when you’re friends with insane people in an insane city and both people keep insane non-schedules.
Bob has to be at the studio at ungodly o’clock in the morning when Gerard’s genius strikes, and then usually gets sucked into playing Dungeons and Dragons until someone’s wife calls. Patrick sometimes gets back to the apartment at three in the morning after dealing with Pete-related shenanigans and flops on Bob where he’s fallen asleep on the couch, shoves his hands under Bob’s hoodie and buries his face in Bob’s neck. Bob likes those nights, or really mornings, when he wakes up with Patrick’s hands on his stomach and ginger hair in his mouth and an extremely disgruntled pile of dogs wanting to know why there is no room for them on the couch.
