La de da....

Is it time to go home yet? I'm exhausted - it's been quite a week of catch up at work - and this weekend I have two parties and lunch with a friend in from London scheduled. And then there are little things like packing for my trip to Oregon (if it isn't underwater or hasn't blown away by next week) and sending off all of my Christmas gifts ( Read more... )

I guess saving a little of that batter would be out of the question?

1. Don't really remember, probably some toy or such...lincoln logs or the erector set.
2.My current one is the same as a sunny day activity, sitting mindless in front of the monitor playing WoW/CoH would pretty much be it.
3.Willy Wonka...Oh wait they already tried that.
4.Never really had one, most of my family just gave money...Never had a bad gift either believe it or not, if I did it wasn't bad enough to remember.
5.We had one of those old sleds that you lay face down on and steer (A flyer I think..you could sit up and steer with your feet too.) Well my friends father laid down first, I laid on top of him and my buddy laid on top of me.(Those that know me may wonder about the logistics but I was smaller once) and we did proceed to fly headlong down the hill at speeds resembling plaid. When we finally stopped we found ourselves in the middle of a frozen lake which wasn't so bad until we heard the ice start cracking. It was dicey getting off but we managed it without joining the polar bear club.

I've been trying to figure out how to get some of the batter to you, although I'm also thinking knowingly distributing "coronary in a box" to others who will eat it with a spoon may be at odds with my gym going lifestyle...

5) We had a flyer growing up, but it was mostly used to transport things/people around the neighborhood when it got snowy...

Your not supposed to eat it with a spoon? How are you supposed to consume it?

That stinks, did you attach a dog to it such as a family pet or a younger sibling to pull it?

It's part of a drink!

Coronary in a Box + rum + hot water = Hot Buttered Rum

Only 1 tablespoon of the batter per drink...

I AM the youngest sibling - thanks for dredging up those memories...

Rum and Water????

Too much work...although I wonder how it would taste with Rum+ Coronary+ Jones Soda?

1 Tablespoon per drink??? I like three or five....How about a Cold Buttered Rum Milkshake...

Sorry...are the riding crop scars still visible?
