[Fan Fic] Rin Kagamine
So, I decided to do a series of Vocaloid fanfics, because I have nothing better to do.
Now, I finally finished Rin's! I wanted to do hers by herself because I have a different idea for Len.
Title: Observant Child? Or an Understanding Woman?

Summary: It seems no one pays any attention to those things, no one but Rin...
"Really?"
They're gettting friendlier.....
"Excuse me!"
They're not looking eachother in the face anymore....
"How're you?"
He's trying too hard...
"..in....."
Hmmm...?
"Rin!!!!!!!"
Her ribbons bounced as she lifted her head towards Len. Len sighed heavily, holding batches of papers.
"Weren't you going to help me practice these songs?", he frowned at her, she shrugged it off with her hands. "Don't worry, I will, I will.", Rin turned the television off, and stood up. They walked into the kitchen, where Miku was making a strange dish with leeks. Rin and Len began to sing, and Miku smiled warmly as she heard the soft melody. When the twins finished, they hear a sound of applause, Miku grinning at them.
"Wow! You guys, that was really good!!", Miku ran over to hug them, her long ponytails flocking over their eyes. "I can't wait to hear it finished!", Miku giggled and skipped away, Len fixed his ponytail.
"Honestly, that Miku, she's too hyper for her own good...", he tried to sound angry, but all Rin could see were smiles. Miku waltzed back in, "Oh, Len!!!", she handed a bright, orange gift bag to him. "I finished it! You'd better wear it!"
Len looked at her, surprised, "M-Miku-nee.....wha...o-oh! I asked you to make this, huh?".
Len blushed slightly, but opened the bag rather slowly, and grinned to himself while he was at it. He pulled out a bright, yellow scarf, the color matched his hair quite nicely. He tried to hide his overly, enthusiastic smile, "T-Thank you so much!!! I-I'll wear it all through winter, I promise!", with that, he hugged Miku tightly, almost shoving her over. Len realized, and almost in an instant, hopped off. He bowed slightly, and retreated to the living room, bumping into Gakupo on the way out. Gakupo opened his mouth, but Len ran off, smiling all the while. Gakupo shrugged, and continued his way to the bathroom. Miku only smiled and went back to her own business, leaving Rin all alone in the kitchen. She stared at the wooden floor, talking to herself.
"Miku-nee can knit?......."

Kaito almost dropped his ice cream but Meiko saved him just in time.
"Moron, watch it before you cry out in agony because you dropped it!", Meiko laughed, punching Kaito lightly. Rin was watching her favorite program on television, pretending she wasn't listening to their conversations. Miku laughed, the tv character was hit by a car. Kaito positioned himself on the sofa, his head resting on Meiko's side. She seemed annoyed, but didn't tell him to move. They stayed silent for a while, no one made a sound but Kaito, who was mumbling how great his ice cream tasted.
Finally, Meiko took a quick glance at Kaito, "You're wearing a scarf inside the house?".
She teasingly pulled it, Kaito sounded like he choked for a second. He turned his head upward towards her, "I didn't really think about it, but-", he sat up, his scarf hung over the edge of the sofa.
"Suits me rather fine doesn't it?", Kaito stood up, and struck a rather cute pose. Meiko chuckled, and pulled his scarf, along with him, back towards the sofa. " I guess, all in all, it looks fine.". Rin thought for sure, that she saw Miku smile from the corner of her eye. Kaito sat back down, and everyone fell silent once more.
Rin sat, deep in thought.
"So.....it's like that?"

Rin entered the kitchen, she saw Luka cutting up vegetables for dinner. Luka turned to greet her, nodding for her to come in. Rin sat down by the counter, from her view, Luka fit a housewife just fine. Soon, all the other Vocaloids entered, they were preparing a celebration for Gumi.
"Luka!!!", Gakupo's bangs perked up, he was grinning like a moron. "After you finish that, would it trouble you at all to help me prepare my own dish for Gumi?".
Luka looked at him, a bit of surprise shown on her face. "You...what kind of dish would you like to make?", she wiped her hands on a dish towel. Gakupo smiled, "Why, we must show her the deliciousness of eggpl-", Meiko stopped him.
"Yeeaaahhhh, we get it already.".
Gakupo frowned, "Oh? how did you guess that? But of course, I'm talking to Megurine", he grinned back at Luka, "So?".
She only nodded, her pink hair bobbing up and down. "Perfect,!", he exclaimed, "Shall we begin?"
"Of course.", Luka grabbed the eggplants and Gakupo attempted to roll his sleeves up, but ended up leaving to change into new attire.
When he returned, they began to rinse and cut the eggplants. Rin watched them, Len sat next to her, resting his head on the counter.
"Ewww...", Rin teased,"They cut meat there...".
Len got up quickly, only to see a laughing Rin, "Just kidding!!!". He glared at her, Kaito laughed along with Rin. "Say....", Kaito's eyes wandered to Luka and Gakupo, "haha! Hey you two, from this view, you look like a married couple!" Kaito's laugh rocked the kitchen, Luka jumped at his remark.
"Kaito!!! Don't make such strange jokes!!", she pouted and turned away, "I can't see myself as a housewife.."
Gakupo finished cutting the eggplants, no problem for a samurai anyway, "Why Megurine, " he cocked his head towards her, "I would say that out of the bunch of women here, you would make the best housewife! Rin's too mishcievous, Miku's too energetic, and Meiko's too violen-", he paused, probably saving his life, "anyway, you are the most respectful and well-mannered." He nodded to himself, as if agreeing to something invisible. Luka hid her blushing face under her hair, and they continued to work. Meiko grinned at Kaito, but he didn't understand. Miku looked at a confused Len, who shook his head, he too didn't understand. Rin sighed.
"Huh......."

"Congratulations Gumi!!!!!"
Everyone grinned widely, they presented Gumi with food and gifts. She smiled shyly, and thanked them continuously. Rin could see that Gumi was fighting back tears of joy, She knew that Gumi felt she wouldn't be accepted, but no one was more welcoming than the Vocaloids themself. After everything had died down, Rin retreated to the balcony to get fresh air. She felt a light pat on her shoulder, when she twirled around she could see Len's figure outlined by the lights from inside.
"You okay Rin?", Len stood beside her, she looked away.
"I'm alright, just tired from all the partying....", he could tell she was lieing, and it annoyed him a bit.
'Liar....", they've been with eachother for years, so he knew what kind of faces and expressions she made when she lied. Len sighed and hung his arms over the railing.
"You're really childish sometimes Rin. And you always stay quiet, like you're fine with observing others", the wind blew his bangs across his cheek. Rin frowned, "I'm not that childish", she pouted, her lips pursed out. "Besides Len", she propped her hands on the railing and pulled herself up to sit on it, "I'm a woman now!"
Len laughed out, his laugh echoed. "Woman? Rin, just because you hit you're period, doesn't make you a woman!!!", he playfully nicked the back of her head, she smiled back.
"Huh? Oh Len, you don't get it!! A woman starts to see things differently, we start to understand things Len!", she emphasized his name by lifting her arms over her head. "Buuuuutttttttttt, you're a boy, you wouldn't get it!"
Rin hopped off the railing and skipped back towards the house, but she paused and turned around to face Len. "So, you should start looking at me as a woman!!" Len shook his head in surprise, "A woman? are you kidding? You're just Rin!", he stuck his tongue out at her. Rin groaned and stuck hers back at him.
"See? that's why I said you wouldn't get it!!!", she grinned at him, Len looked away in defeat.
"Race you back inside?"
"What? That's not fair, you're right in front of the door-", but Len's sentence was cut short as he chased Rin back inside.
