I would like to make a public declaration concerning the investigation into my death and the question of Logan's guilt.
I was responsible for my death, not Logan. It was my personal decision, based on my feelings about the state of the investigation into the murders Logan did commit at the time of our meeting. No-one affiliated with the Shinra Company was aware of what I had intended to do; I ask that you do not hold them responsible for my error.
I can't ask for your forgiveness, but I would like to sincerely apologise to everyone who was directly affected by my actions, particularly Logan, his family, and the Shinra Company. I will also be delivering these apologies in person, with a sum of monetary compensation for damages drawn from my own salary.
I am pending punishment from my superior, and I am personally willing to do anything in my power to amend for this misdeed.
