I can't give you an honest answer to that. I don't know. Farfarello is insane and not. I know his mind quite well and what parts to avoid. First time I went into it, I was a drooling idiot for a week. He's different from other people. Don't get me wrong in that he's a killer, more of one than I am. One set off, there's nothing that can stop him. He slaughtered his own family. I can control him most of the time. I can say if there's any psychic bleedover from him to me that makes me more violent and less stable. That's something Jean might know.

Again, that's a hard question. Were I to walk into a situation where you had unwittingly set me up, say in the case of this meeting. Were Shinra to be using you as a patsy to lure me in where he may have people I couldn't read or sharpshooters in place, then yes, I would. I would most likely propel you to provide some sort of distraction so I could escape. That is about the only case I could forsee needing to do so. I won't end up in a cage.

I think I saw them in some of those pictures with you. The apple name is somewhat familiar.

Of course. If they have something planned, whether I know or not, it's an indirect betrayal of trust. What I want to know is, Schu, why you trust a Shinra employee. I'm not like Cissnei. I'm higher up, I know more of what's going on, and moreover, we've met once. But I still get the impression that you trust me and wouldn't take advantage of it to your own ends. Am I correct?

I wouldn't take advantage of you unless I was left with no other option to preserve my own safety. I trust people, not companies, and most assuredly not those in charge of the company. I've suspected more than once that the one you call Rufus Shinra is really Brad Crawford in disguise.

People are generally not as motivated towards the company's aims as the uppers are. You may not kill for a Shin-Ra secret, but I have little doubt he would. I don't know Rufus Shinra, therefore, I distrust him. I can't see his mind at a distance like that, at least not well. I think it's that his thoughts shift too damn quickly for me to get a lock on him. Were I to meet him and reassure myself he wasn't Brad, I may feel differently.

I'm sure your suspicions are unfounded. He's a peculiar man - and undoubtedly condescending at some points, but I don't think him any danger to Purgatorium. His company has already done a lot of good for our environment; I don't think he would jeopardise it.

'Those parts'? Nothing happened between us in that respect, if those are the parts you mean. You wouldn't find much to interest you if you did explore.

I try not to regardless. If I didn't like you, I'd probably read you like a bored man does a magazine in a doctor's office, but I do so I don't.
