Are you certain this is wise, Shu? That it is even possible to restrain Wesker?

In all honesty, Mister Sadi, we can't keep him like this forever. I daresay he probably knows it, but I have to bluff. Ultimately, this is really our choice, not his. Do we retain him until he inevitably rouses enough to break free? Or do we take lengths to restrain him now, with the condition that it may not be successful?

This is a juggling act, ultimately - and as with juggling, the balls only come back to our hands for a short period before they're in the air again. Our job is to throw them and catch them on our terms - because if we can't control them, we're going to drop them.

...your point is valid, though I believe relying on a device is unwise. To have it for day-to-day encouragement might be ideal, but... a security detail would be necessary, at all times. Support from ShinRa's SOLDIER division would be ideal, with each detail being headed by one ShuRa's stronger employees.

An excellent suggestion. We can rely on the SOLDIERs for that sort of thing, I believe. Dealing with Wesker is ultimately bound to be a cooperative effort on ShinRa and ShuRa's part... at least until some way can be found of subduing him mentally.

Naturally; they are intended as a group of abnormally talented and powerful warriors, correct? But ShuRa must maintain a presence in each detail, for appearance's sake. If we show dominance, then the illusion that this is a solo effort can be maintained; the SOLDIERs, simply rented out or some such thing. The moment they are shown to have an equal stand in this, though, our enemies will recognize the truth of the situation.

...sadly, my only suggestions for that are irreversible, and rely upon the reacquisition of my powers. ...which I should be eligible for, come to think of it...

I'm sure ShinRa would appreciate that we must maintain control. Though SOLDIER belongs to ShinRa, their focus is more general, whilst we are the company that specialises in these threats. Even beyond appearances, it's practical for everyone involved.

You're due for an evaluation?

Of course. Separate in form, united in function.

Indeed I am... and thank the Darkness for it. I've not been so painfully defenseless in over seventeen-hundred years...
