Sea level to High Desert

May 07, 2007 10:54

I'll have to post photos, soon.

My mouth is dry.

My hair isnt frizzy from the moisture (I doubt there's any in the air).

My back is being warmed by the sunlight coming in through the window.

Our walk around the apartment complex left me breathless.

My skin is dry - I just put lotion on 2 hours ago.

It's going to take some adjusting here *smiles*

I can feel the sun taking it's role as my mood-gauge.
I grew up in the Northwest, but I've never done well, emotionally, in the extended periods of gray, wet, soggy climate.
My brief summer excursion to Coeur d'Alene left my heart and body begging for the dry hot air.
But, my soul yearns to dive into a cool, clear lake.

I'm a lucky girl.
