So last night, I had a dream
Dreams work in weird, often inexplicable ways. So when my dreams decide to pair me with someone completely out of the left field, I learned to take it in a stride.
This one was a bit different.
I was hanging out with a person I never actually met in real life. We were talking about comics. And then, I hit on that person. Because, well, dream logic. And things got awkward.
Now, like I said, dreams can pull really weird stuff on you, so I don't give that any significance.
What really stuck in my mind was that, before the dream got awkward, that person and I had a discussion about how Warren Ellis' run on Stormwatch foreshadowed a lot of superhero comic tropes in the 2000s. And it was a damn interesting conversation.
Why couldn't my dream kept that going instead of getting weird?
The mind is a strange, strange thing.
