Some experimental, dancy Halloween music

Oct 29, 2017 20:54

Every Friday night, Canadian DJ and musician B.Traits plays some of the more experimental, off-the-wall techno/electronic music out there on BBC's flagship Radio 1 station. While in London, her show runs between 1:00 AM - 4:00 AM - which is 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM US Central Time. If I'm home at the time, I usually launch Winamp and put on Radio 1 as I write. Because a lot of the stuff B.Traits plays is so experimental, it's a bit of a mixed bag, but it's usually a pretty nifty experience overall.

Last Friday, she did a Halloween-themed episode. As you might expect, it's more on the spooky, unsettling side. I wish I could just embed the episode here, but between BBC and Livejournal, that's not going to happen. So, instead, I decided to embed one of the songs she played. If that sounds like your cup of tea, check out the episode before its too late.

(Seriously - BBC Radio shows only stay up for 30 days)
