Amtrak and Canada's Via Rail wish their passengers Happy Holidays

This is one of those things that have been in the queue for a while, to the point where, if I don't post this now, it will become completely irrelevant.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year and other winter holidays, Amtrak put together a nice video.

But what gets me about this is that, around the same time, Via Rail (which plays a similar role as Amtrak in Canada) put together something fairly similar.

Sure, they are both ads, but that's okay. I think, in their own ways, they manage to be heartwarming without overdoing it. And I guess, having just recently taken a train to visit friends, they remind me that while train trips are great, they are all the much better when you have a warm welcome waiting for you at the other end of the line.

Merry (non-Orthodox) Christmas, everyone. And Happy Holidays.
