Aka Operation - cull the tabs

An interesting article about Mizuki Shigeru's anti-war manga, written Mathew Penney

"Trashing Out" in the Inland Empire. When thousands of homes are left abandoned in the wake of the real estate crisis, what happens to all the personal belongings that get left behind? An L.A. Times video report takes a look, and the results are quite shocking. Here in Chicago, the collapse of the real estate bubble hasn't been nearly as devastating, but as the economy heads for the crapper, things can (and probably will) get worse.

Legends of Virgil's Ex-Girlfriend. Some time in the past,  Virgil, Superdickery.com's long-time (former) member used the since-wiped original version of  the comm's forums to post stories about his insane ex-girlfriends. His posts have been preserved, presumably verbatim, at the now-abandoned Superdickery wiki. Nobody is quite sure whether those stories were real or not - either way, they are far too compelling to be ignored. Warning - not safe for work, and maybe sanity.
