Cosplay - A Happy Parody
When I saw that cosplayer/youtube personality who goes by "D Piddy" put out a parody of Pharrell Williams' "Happy," I figured it would be much like his other "parodies" - do a funny video involving cosplayers and keep the music the same. But this time, he went an extra mile, putting together a song that riffs on the source material while celebrating cosplay.
As I've written before, I think that cosplay should, first and foremost, be fun. And this piece captures that quite well.
