My laptop Gir 2.0 is dead. I typing this on my parents spare PC

I'm 'puterless and I was all ready 3 days behind on my flist from this weekend.
Tomorrow is comic day, but I will have to pick up a new laptop. I already checked out prices.
I've ruled out HP, Acer, and Compaq.
I've narrowed it down to:
Choice 1: Office Depot got a Toshiba with 15" screen, an Intel processor, 3GB of memory, and 250GB of RAM for $600.
They also got a 2 year oops warranty for $190. Total price: $790
Choice2: Best Buy has a Toshiba with a 17" screen, an AMD processor, 3GB of memory, and 250GB of RAM for $580.
Their 2 year oops warranty is $220. Total price: $800
I would still need to pick up a new cooling tray (The cat killed it, too.) and some security software, so I'm leaning towards Office Depot, but a bigger is so spiffy shiny.
Oh wise and all know flist, which should I choose?
