i'm kinda curious that Dean isn't more "into" the stealing bit. he's done enough if it when he thought he was mortal. :D

Richie started out as a thief (that's how they met - Richie was trying to steal from mac). Duncan put a stop to that pretty quickly and Mac was always trying to stop Amanda from doing illegal things too.

So, I felt that with his record cleared Dean would be more reluctant. Duncan is the ultimate Boy scout and wouldn't approve (and neither would Sam). Dean wouldn't want to "disappoint" his mentor or his brother. Plus i always got the impression that their illegal activities were always for the greater good - solving a case - not simply for personal gain.

I hope that makes sense to you. I hope you still enjoyed the story.

Hee. Cute story. Dean is far trickier, I think, than most people give him credit for.

I like Richie's solution to the problem. Poor guy really doesn't get the girl much, at all. He should get the girl sometimes, too.

Unfortunately it is a bit of a running joke in the Immortal!Dean stories that Richie never gets the girl.
