becasue we all know trouble will find the winchesters *hee*. To be honest I often find the title of a story to be the hardest part. it is also uaually the last thing I decide - becasue i have no ideas and am then forced to make one. This fic was saved as Dean meets and Immortal until I actually posted it. :)

i get titles pretty much one of three ways -

*title first, then i write the fic around it.
*as i'm writing, i type a phrase or word that would make a really cool title
*fic's done and waiting to be posted and all i need is a damn title. then i stop thinking about it, or someone gives a word or phrase to springboard from.

and rarely there's a fourth way - after the fact. i changed the titles of two of my fics after i posted them. heee.

Well - I haven't actually changed a title afterwards but there are times when I wanted too.

I think Red Tape - may be the only story where I wrote to a title. Not counting the "5 things" format which i love becasue it is what it says.

Like my next Immortal Dean is called (for now) Richie and Dean talk. So creative - not :) Actually i want to do a series of shorts from the 'verse so I may call it 5 scenes from the Immortal Dean verse - then I don't have to worry about a title *hee*

"Dreamscape" (a standalone AU) used to be "Hauntings." and i hated it.

"Revelations" (Mayaverse #11) was "Secrets." i really wanted it to be something like "Different Rules" - but i did that in my NightWaves xover series... so yeah. i don't like to re-use titles no matter how badly i want to.

my current WIPs are labeled as "Timeshifter #6" and "Mayaverse #14." heh.
