Smallville - yep I watched it tonight - the two hour JSA minimovie - and it totally didn't suck. In fact Michael Shanks as Hawkman was fantastic. This may have been the best episode in years

I loved the B&W film showing the arrest of the heroes - it was fun playing guess who LOL. And Michael was perfect casting!!

I really hope that they start stying closer to the comics in tone. Episodes like this are what keeps me watching because very once and a while they get it right

My favorite part? When Amanda Waller mentioned the looming Apocalypse. SV/SPN is canon. xD

I actually shouted at the TV - go find Sam and Dean!!

I loved this episode but my favorites have always been when they've stayed close to the comics. The flashback reel of the heroes being rounded up was like a fun who's who

Hee, I would have, but my cousin was watching with me...she might have thought I was a little nuts. You know, more than she already thinks. xD

I was definitely geeking out with all the comic characters. Especially Hawkman and Hawkgirl. And then Martian Manhunter's power/suit was very awesome. Really, they should just put Clark in a timeout and let the other heroes run SV for a while. It'd be more interesting. *g*

I do prefer all the other heroes over clark - I would seriously enjoy a GA spin-off better and now they can do a JSA spin -off!! I would totally watch that

LOL - it seems everyone's stopped watching SV. I couldn't resist the combination of Michael Shanks and the JSA characters. As DC fan it was a lto fo fun to see what they did with those iconic characters
