Bet that's the first time anyone's heard him say that.

Poor Charlotte, she is the voice of experience here and she has good reasons for holding back the truth, but the boys are definitely the exception.

I thought it made for a nice twist and now the guys are really confused becasue they just assumed that it was Ezra's fault. Charlotte knows best but no child always listens to their parent and that's the kind of relationship they ultimately have

I can understand Charlotte's not wanting to tell the others, but Ezra needs to tell the truth. He's found his own sort of family and doesn't want to lie anymore.

Love the little interaction between Josiah and JD. Wonder what they're gonna overhear now. :D

Ezra has undergone a dramatic transformation and he's still struggling with what it all means. More JD to come - I tired to give each of the guys has their little moments

The guys reaction - anger toward Charlotte was unexpected but also an enjoyable twist.

You certainly know how to use tension and suprise in your stories!

Now I need to know if Ezra is going to tell the guys the truth or if he is going to leave. But I'll find that out in the next couple of parts ... won't I?

I hope it ultimately made sense. They assumed Ezra was to blame and now they don't know what to believe. So glad I'm keeping you guessing. Two more parts - so I give nothing away
