But anyway, thank youuu so much for looking over it completely unexpectedly in the middle of a conversation about George Harrison, because, you know. DISTRACTION FROM HARRISON. ♥

That was brilliant! Insane and believable in the LOM-sort of way and oh, poor Sam. The phone floating next to Gene was just genius. XD

"afterism*" used a lovely phrase - insane and believable in the LOM-sort of way which I totally second.
"It's a Siemens," Sam adds, helpfully.
"It's a what?"
Just brilliant. I love the whole thing, the way you've got in all sorts of references to how Sam is used to everything being weird, and the rest of CID are used to Sam being weird!
he does, one evening, cut the cord of the distinctly non-mobile phone in his flat What does it say about you, or me, or Sam, that, after reading your fic, I completely believe he would do this?
Love it love it love it. Thank you.
* btw can someone tell me how you do that hyperlink thing with an LJ user name?

Ahahaha, I am glad this made sense, because I often wonder if Sam actually went through reams and reams of particularly weird phases that we never actually saw onscreen and the rest of CID would become less "omgwtf Sam what's up with you" and more "oh, he's off again, sigh". Anyway, thank you very much!

ILU, dearly.
I could pretty much quote the entire thing back at you, but my personal number one favourite was;
"Oh, Annie." That grin, that grin she sees so rarely, where his eyes shine, and his teeth part slightly, and it looks like he's trying to split his face in two, presumably because one face simply cannot contain the sheer amount of joy he's attempting to express. "It's so much more than that. It's a different level, a different plateau of communication, a whole - a whole multimedia experience."
Because that is so Sam, it really is. And you completely win for this entire fic.

This is really great. Can't you see that? It's all the best things of Life on Mars amplified by nine.
