I just had a little epiphany...
Lately I've been struggling with the concept that humans choose when they want to die. Life is a conscience choice we make each moment, not to die yet. When someone experiences a near death situation and miraculously survives, we say they have the "will to live." They make the choice that they don't want to die yet. So we all have this choice sitting in front of us, in every moment, most of us don't even realize it.
The epiphany came to me when i thought of the phrase "curiosity killed the cat." The popular (and incorrect, in my opinion) interpretation is that we should not FUCK with things we don't know about, we might get FUCKED back. However, this does not take into account that curiosity is natural to humans, the search for meaning in life is a common thread among all humans. On top of this, death is the ultimate enigma. We can never know what exactly death is like until we experience it ourselves. And so, ultimately, it is our own curiosity about DEATH that allows us to make the choice. Curiosity, very literally, will kill each one of us.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
