List your resolutions -- and tell us how likely you are to keep them.

1.  Laugh more/be funny again. - After I lost my husband life became too serious.  There was a boy to raise, a house to manage, and amongst it all, a desperate attempt not to fall apart and give up.  Time passes and that is supposed to lessen loss and hurt, but I have found that it hasn't for me.  What was a coping mechinism has turned into a way of life.  I'd like to change that up this year.

2.  Support my son and give him more space to grow. - He has been grown for a long time but in that time he's always been mine in some way.  We've always been close.  Now he's stepping out on his own and probably thinking about starting his own family outside of me.  It's hard not to cling and try and pull him back to me, it's not healthy, but it's hard being alone.

3.  Meet new people.  - This sort of goes along with number two and number one.  It's not easy though.  I'm old and relatively set in my ways.  It's easy to stay in my routine and shut myself off from the rest of the world, I've done it so far for this long.

4.  Pay better attention to my health.  - This is always something I try and focus on but I tend to slip throughout the year and spend more time eating popcorn and junk instead of protien shakes and kale smoothies.

How likely am I to follow through with these New Year resolutions?  Ha, Broadchurch season 1 just hit Netflix and it's callin' my name something fierce.  Fuzzy pajamas and Chex Mix make are a siren call that I just can not resist.  Resolutions will start...

Monday, yeah, that sounds good.

(Also: how damn generic are these?  This list is like, every single person's list, in the history of ever.  Lame.)
