I realized something about education / career. I can only say it for sure for my own. In college your major should be what you want, not what will make good money. I was computer science at first, and hated it. What i learned is that it doesnt matter the name of your major, what matters is the fact that you have your degree, and you know the things the employer wants you to know. For example my current employer wants me to know crystal reports, and a general knowledge of the way programming code behaves, he/she does NOT need my major, just that i took those courses, and am able to do the job.
With that said I will likely be switching to philosophy. My other two options would be creative writing and phychology. Man what i wouldnt give to be able to write philosophy column for a newspaper
