Chapter 11:
"Tonight is the night," Glen said to himself while driving down fort street. "Tonight is when it will all end. No one will be able to stop me when no one knows who killed them. The only thing left to do is to destroy the lives of my DQ workers. Who is next on my list. Hmm. I wonder what they will do if I switch things up." Glen did a u-turn and then turned down a street. Turned into the ally and pulled into a spot at the Dairy Queen. They would never expect me to kill them while they were working.
Glen Tightday walked slowly up to the back door, placed his key into its slot, and opend the door. "Good evening Glen," Christana said, "We are just about to close up, did you need something?" "Yes Chirstina, in fact, I need to talk to you in the office." "Okay I will just tell the girls I will be back in a minute." A couple minutes later Christina came into the back room to speak to her boss. "So Glen, what is it that you wanted to talk about?" "Nothing really, I just wanted to do this," and with movements so fast she could do nothing to defend herself, Glen Tightday cut off Christina's head. "Well, one down and three to go. Maybe with something so open Jason will finally give up and quit."
Waiting until the shades were closed Glen watched the girls clean until one confronted him. "Mr. Tightday," Brittany asked, "How are you?" "I am fine and you should be working not talking," as he finished his statement Stephanie walked back. "Brittany, Sarah wants you to work up front with her." "Okay, can you handle it back here?" "Yeah, I will be okay." Glen looked happy by the turn of events Jason will never be able to live with himself to know that both Christina and Stephanie were murdered! Who shall I go for first though, it would be to easy to just kill Stephanie. I think I am up for a challenge. "Brittany, I will be over seeing yours and Sara's work tonight to see if you are ready for a manager possition as on just opened up." "That is fine," Brittany said not knowing what he ment by a possition opening up, but not wanting to ask.
While up front Glen was trying hard to conseal his happiness. He sat back and watched the two beautiful young women who were about to be potential victims to his blade. The will never see it coming. Just as he was about to make his move Stephanie came to the front screaming. "CHRISTINA IS DEAD!" Stephanie screamed. Now all eyes were on Glen and he could not hep but smile. "Yes, it is sad that Christina had to fall victim to my blade, but you all will see her fate." At the end of his words he lunged at Brittany stabbing her straight through her throat to choke her screams. He had to rin after Stephanie, as Sarah eluded him and ran a complete circle. "You'll get yours," Glen said in a crazed voice. Stephanie had just reached the door as Glen threw his knife at her hand, which now stuck to the wall. "Why... why must you kill us?" Glen answered her question with a smile on his face, "It is the way it is supposed to be." With that he pulled the knife from her hand and the wall and slit her throat. Now madness ran through him as he walked up to the opened walk-in door. Just as he put pressure on the door it closed on him, pushing his knife into his side. Now on the floor bleeding Glen could not stop laughing, "You Sarah showed so much bravery tonight, I will give you the option on how you would like to die. It is simple, fast or slow." "I would rather like to live," Sarah answered as she started to run for the door. "That won't work for me," Glen said pulling the knife from his side and chucking it will all his strength at the back of Sarah's head. "Now that I am finished here I will go have Jennifer look at this.
Chapter 12:
I started off his new day by making sure that Nicole was still alive. As I picked up his phone to call Laura the phone rang. "Hello," Jason said answering the phone. "Jason, it is Detective Cox." "Yes what do you want." "There has been a couple of murders last night and a hell lot of blood." "Where?" "Well, the Dairy Queen." Now Jason was in a panic the murder struck right at the DQ? "Who died?" "Sarah, Brittany, Stephanie, and Christina." "Great, now everyone related to me who worked there is dead. Do you still think I did it?" "No, Actually we have blood samples, but it will take a while for us to actually figure out who did this." "How long?" A couple of days if not weeks. Jason there is a lot of blood here." "How?" "How what Jason?" "How were they killed, person by person please." "That I can not tell you over the phone. We will have to meet, how about 3:45 at the station?" "Alright, but I will have some other people with me, people who I need to make sure are not killed. Is that okay with you detective?" "Sure Jason, what ever you need." "What I need is to have some vengence for what took place last night." Then I hung up.
Now things are getting ugly. Not only is he killing my friends, but he did it at their place of work. Things need to be figured out before we all die. First he kills Emily during our meeting, who's body is still missing, but now he killed four people in one sitting. I need to end this but how? Just as I was trying to think my phone range again. "Hello." "Jason, so I take it you heard the news, but not to worry, I am dying also." "WHO ARE YOU!" "Now, now, no need for anger I only called to let you know your little friend got me, but I doubt I will still be alive when they figure it out for I cannot go to the hospital." Click. "MAN, that guy has some balls to be calling me after he did that." Just then I remembered what I was doing and called Laura. "Hello," she answered. "Hey Laura, is everything okay over there?" "Yeah, why wouldn't it be. Oh, you mean is Nicole still alive? Yeah, why whats going on?" "Listen, I need you to come get me in ten minutes, can you do that for me?" "Yeah, I will be right over." Click
Next person who I needed to call was Hannah, hopefully she isn't still upset after me yelling at her a couple of nights ago. "Hey Jason." "Hannah, do you have plans today?" "Yeah, why?" "Cancel them, you are coming with Laura and I to the police station." "Why, has someone else been murdered?" "You can say that. It was more like and entire crew while still inside the Dairy Queen, but I cannot explain over the phone but everything will be said at the pocice station." Then I hung up.
Within the next few minutes Laura was at my house with Nicole in the seat next to her. "We have to go get Hannah and then to the Police Station," I said as soon as I got into the truck. "Can't I go home? I mean I need to change my cloths I have worn them for the past three days," Nicole asked. "No, not until the slasher is dead or caught . Laura didn't say a word, she just drove to get Hannah and then to the Police Station. The ride was so quiet you could hear a pin drop in her carpeted car.
Chapter 13:
"Jennifer, I am going to die. Do not be upset though, for I killed the one who tried to kill me," Glen said to his wife as he was lying on blood stained sheets. "you cannot die now, who will finish what you have started?" "I was hoping that you would, but you must know the rules have changed. No longer are you just trying to get Jason to quit or go to jail. No, I am not going to die for that cause. Now the whole Dairy Queen crew must die, and when that is finished the Dairy Queen is to be burnt to the ground. Then you must kill yourself outside of the door after the building has been burning for a while, so we can be together once more." Those were Glen Tightday's last words. With his last breath he smiled then passed.
Chapter 14:
At the Police Station, Detective Cox explained to the four of us what he thought exactly happened that night. "You mean," I said, "That he killed them at random?" "Thats what the signs point to. Christina though, was not a random choice, she looked as if she was about to say something." "This is sick," Laura said. "Do you know who did this, I mean four people get killed in one night, in one spot and you do not have any suspects?" Hannah asked. "Well, no." Joe said not thinking it would make everyone upset. "How the hell can we trust this damn police system if so many people go dead and your only suspect is the only person trying to stop this," Nicole said in an angry tone. "Detective, we have a match. The blood at the scene belongs to a Glen Tightday other than the dead victims." Said a man placing a folder infront of the detective then running out.
"WHAT!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "You mean to tell us that the person responcibe for these murders is the one who pays us?" "Well, thats what the blood say, and why don't I take a look over there, and you guys go home and get some sleep." "What ever," we all said at the same time. As we got into Laura's car, Hannah asked, "Why would he do that?" "Who knows," said Laura, "Maybe he is just crazy." "All I know," Nicole added, "Is I am not going to work today." An hour past, two hours past and I was still silent. Finally Hannah asked, "Why are you not speaking?" "He called me, and said he was dying. Maybe this is over, or maybe it has just started. For the most I think things have changed, it started with trying to get me to quit, so he picked off the no one important. Then out of the blue, he goes and kills four people I care for. I think he wants us all dead now." No one talked for the rest of the ride.
When I was dropped off my phone rang. I answered not saying a word. "Jason, Glen is dead," as the detective finished his statement he gasped for air. "Hello, detective." No answer. Finally CLICK. What was that all about? First he calls me then he hangs up... unless he was murdered. But who? Glen is dead...
Chapter 15:
Jennifer Tightday is driving in her yellow sports car, with some bloody hands. I cannot believe I killed someone. I feel so alive and today will be the day that everyone will pay.
Her first stop was at Ashley Kilffords house. Knock Knock Knock. "Hello," Ashley said opening the door. "It is time for payback, and your time has come," Jennifer said as she drew her gun, which had a silencer on it. boom boom. Two shots to the chest and Jennifer walked away like it was nothing. As she got into her car she thought, Who is next? Lets see, I think I will go after Alex next. When Jennifer made it to Alex's house, her mother told her that she was at Cheerleading practice. Damn. Oh well, that will put me closer to my next target. "Thank you for your help," Jennifer said to Alex's mother as she walked back to her car and drove towads the high school. While doing so, she passed the Dairy Queen to see that it has been closed due to the murders that occured there four nights ago. There is my last target.
When she got to the High School she saw Alex walking towards Fort St. "Hey, Alex, need a ride," Jennifer said out her window. "Oh, thanks Mrs. Tightday, if it is no trouble." "None at all, which is why I offered." When Alex got into the car Jennifer sped around and into the parking lot of the Dairy Queen. boom boom. Then she dumped Alex into the dumpster. It is almost over.
Then all of a suddon something hit her. I can kill them all at once. She pulled into the parking lot and walked up the the Dairy Queen. Put her key in the slot, and let herself in. She then picked up the phone and called everyone. First she called Angela, which she knew lived the closet. Then she called Jason, Nicole, and finally Hannah, whom she asked if she could convince Jason to come, it was important. As soon as she hung up there was a knock on the door. Everything is happening too quick.
She opened the door and let Angela in, as soon as the door was shut. boom boom. Jennifer pushed her into the bathroom and shut the door. Nicole was next to show, Laura brought her. The extra should not have came. boom boom. boom boom. She stored them in the office then re-loaded her gun. Finally, without knocking Hannah and Jason walked in. "Something seems off," I said to Hannah as we walked into the front. "Maybe it is knowing that your aunt and cousin died in here," Hannah said. "Maybe, but why were we called here and no one else?" Before Hannah could answer, Jennifer did, "Because there is no one else alive to call up, and you will soon be joining them." boom boom. boom boom. "HA HA HA, I did it, now that everyone is dead, it is time to start a fire." Jennifer walked to the back and opened all of the CO2 tanks and walked outside. "Time for a Big Bang." Jennifer then light a match and threw it into the Dairy Queen. BOOM. The place light up like the fourth of July. Finally, though she was still very injured, stood up and placed her gun to her head. "It is finished," she said aloud, then pulled the trigger.
The End
I know it was not that great of an ending and everyone had to die, but it was all I could think of when I wrote it.
