This one was for my nerds
At a party this weekend, this conversation was had. A spaniard was proving he knew english. Keep in mind I never challenged him and I was already slightly drunk.
Spaniard: The face of spain is muy serious. we must work hard. lives of students are very different. Our face (he points at his serious face, while holding a Liter of Mahou) is very serious.
Me: Um, so you´re a student?
Spaniard: No, no, no. I run the enterprise.
Me: (choking on vodka) excuse me?
Spaniard: I run the enterprise. I may only cut loose, this is how you say it, yes? Well, I may only cut loose crazy on the sabados.
Me: Wow. You run the enterprise. Starships are hard to navigate.
Spaniard: (obviously confused) yes. my work is very difficult. I am very estressed.
Me: I bet! I mean, space is like..the final frontier. So you´re like captain or what?
Spaniard: Si, si, si...
This is the part where he wanted me to help him relieve his "estress". Either way, he never figured out what the hell I was talking about.
